IT Catalyst Software India Pvt Ltd ("IT Catalyst", "we", "us") operates the website at itcatalystindia.com. This notice explains what personal information the website collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

It covers this website only. If you engage us for Tally licensing, implementation, customisation, integration, training or AMC support, the handling of your business data under that engagement is governed by the contract we sign with you, not by this notice.

What we collect

Information you send us

The enquiry form on our contact page asks for your name, work email, the service you are interested in, your message, and optionally the name of whoever referred you. You choose what to put in it. We also receive whatever you include when you email or call us, or message us on WhatsApp.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider records standard server logs when a page is requested, which include your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for. These are used to keep the site running and secure.

Analytics

The site includes Google Analytics, configured with IP anonymisation switched on. It is currently installed but not yet activated with a measurement property, so no analytics data is being collected at the time of writing. When we activate it, Google Analytics will set cookies in your browser and record which pages you visit, roughly where you are, and what device and browser you use. It does not tell us who you are.

You can opt out of Google Analytics on any website by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Google's own privacy notice is at policies.google.com/privacy.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies of its own. The only cookies that may be set are those from Google Analytics, once it is activated as described above. Your browser can be set to refuse cookies; the site will work normally without them.

Why we use it

• To answer your enquiry and, where you have asked for one, arrange a demonstration or a quote.
• To provide the support you have asked for.
• To keep the website available, secure and working correctly.
• To understand which pages are useful, once analytics is switched on.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it to send marketing you did not ask for.

Other companies involved

Loading this website causes your browser to contact a small number of third parties, each of which receives your IP address as a normal part of serving a request:

• Google Fonts — the Material Symbols icon set. Our typefaces are served from our own site, so they involve no third party.
• Google Tag Manager — the analytics tag described above.
• Tailwind CDN — the stylesheet the site is built with.
• jsDelivr — the icon library used on our TallyDEx page.
• Google Maps — the map shown on our contact page, and if you click through to our location.
• WhatsApp — only if you use the WhatsApp button to message us.

We may also share your information with a professional adviser, or with a public authority, where the law requires it or to protect our rights.

Where your information is held

We are based in Bengaluru, India, and your information is held in India. Some of the third parties listed above are international companies and may process data outside India under their own terms.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as we are dealing with them, and afterwards for as long as we may reasonably need them as a record of our dealings with you. Server logs are kept for a short period. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.

Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of the information we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, or delete it. You can also withdraw consent you have given, and complain to the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied with how we have handled a request. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. No website or method of transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This website is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes

We may update this notice. The current version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated shown at the top.
