Restricts who can see payroll vouchers and salary figures, set by ledger, group and voucher type. Payroll transactions can be frozen so they cannot be altered, and salary details stay hidden from users who should not see them. Reports cover what is frozen, who has access and which vouchers were touched.

Checks stock availability as the voucher is entered and holds the entry when the quantity is not there. The rules are configurable, so negative stock can be blocked outright or allowed where you need it.

Sets what each user may do with each voucher type. Create, alter, display, print and back-dated entry are controlled separately, so a user who can enter a sales invoice can still be stopped from altering it, printing it or dating it back.

Sends a voucher for approval by voucher type and mails the person who has to act on it. Approvers accept or reject, the status stays against the transaction, and mails go out on a new request, an approval, a rejection and any change of status.

Stops a voucher being deleted. The entry is cancelled instead, so it stays in the data and the voucher number sequence can still be followed.

Turns the Delete and Cancel actions off for chosen users, from Tally's own security control.

Lists only the godowns that belong to a voucher type when the voucher is entered.

Stops a new invoice being raised for a party that still has overdue bills outstanding, going by the credit period set on that party's ledger.

Holds transactions for a party whose outstanding has gone overdue, with a grace period before the block applies. It reads the party's outstanding bills and due dates, works out the grace period that applies, and warns or stops the entry once that period is exceeded. Grace period, overdue amount and ageing are set party by party.

Sets Tally's current date from the system date, so nobody has to change it by hand. Entries carry the real date, and the errors that come from a stale one do not happen.

People creating a ledger often leave the GSTIN blank, key it wrong, or reuse a GSTIN that belongs to another ledger, and the problem only shows up at return filing. This checks those details at the point the ledger is created.

Checks the supplier invoice or reference number as a purchase voucher is entered, and warns or stops the entry if the same reference has already been used for that party. Keeps the same purchase from being booked twice, along with the GST records that follow it.

Follows a sale from sales order to delivery note to invoice, with the voucher numbering under control. Ordered, delivered, invoiced and pending quantities show against each order, and the documents stay linked so a reference cannot be duplicated or point at the wrong voucher.

Follows a purchase from purchase order to GRN to purchase invoice, without forcing the voucher numbering into a sequence. Ordered, received, invoiced and pending quantities show against each order, so short and excess receipts surface and pending purchases stay visible.

Allows a sales entry on the current date only. Back-dated sales vouchers are blocked.

Locks chosen masters so they cannot be used in entries: ledgers, stock items, cost centres, godowns and customer or supplier records.

Prints the logos of the brands you carry along the bottom of the sales invoice, so the customer can see what you stock.

Prints the party's previous outstanding on the invoice, so the bill doubles as a short account statement and the credit position is visible when it is raised. Supports sales, purchase, credit note, debit note, delivery note, receipt note, purchase order, receipt, payment and journal.

Prints the customer's outstanding and overdue balances on the invoice. The ageing is worked out from the pending transactions, so the customer can see what is overdue alongside the current bill.

Prints two bank accounts on the invoice instead of one, so the customer has more than one way to pay and the banking details are on the bill itself.

Moves the e-invoice code, IRN and QR code to where you want them on the printed invoice, after the dispatch details. Works with both bill print formats.

Tally's invoice carries one discount field, which gets awkward when a trade discount, a cash discount and a scheme discount all apply to the same bill. This adds a second discount level in the sales invoice, works both out into the invoice value, and prints them separately so the customer can see how the figure was arrived at.

Changes the print configuration on the TallyPrime invoice: two company logos, the font and position of the company name and address, two bank accounts, a border on each line, and terms and conditions.

Prints the Dispatch From address on the sales invoice, so the bill can carry the billing address (primary) and the despatch address (additional) separately.

Sets a company address against each voucher type. The right company or branch address is picked up on its own when the document is printed.

Links supporting documents to a ledger or a voucher and opens them from the Tally screen. A vendor ledger can carry its GST certificate, PAN card and the owner's Aadhaar; a sales order can carry the customer's PO. Folders and sub-folders are reachable from the voucher screen.

Backs up the company data when it is first loaded each morning. You set the path, and the backups are filed into sub-folders by day of the week.

Party-wise tracking of cash sales needs two entries: the sales invoice against the party, and a cash receipt against it. This raises the receipt on its own the moment the sales invoice is passed, so the second entry is never missed.

Takes a purchase requirement from request through to order. Once a purchase request is approved it converts into a purchase order, carrying the transaction details across rather than being keyed again.

Prepares customer quotations with item, price, discount and tax details, prints the quotation document, and converts an approved quotation into a sales order.

Writes off unrecoverable receivables and payables, rounding differences and similar balances through a journal voucher. The party-wise adjustment, the debit and credit ledgers, the amount, narration and reference are all set on the entry.

Imports B2B purchase invoices in GST format. Supplier GSTIN, invoice number and date, taxable value, GST rate, CGST, SGST, IGST and cess come across along with item, quantity, rate and discount, and the purchase vouchers are created with the GST details in place.
